A unique absorbent, containing pH indicators, a combination that effectively reduces the risks associated with the containment, removal and disposal of chemical spills including: acids, bases, solvents, oxidizers, reducers and oils.
| |
| |
| 1. | TRIVOREX ® is both safe and easy to use. Put on suitable PPE and follow the instructions for use:
| Containment - Pour the absorbent around the outer edges of the spill. Once the spill has been contained, completely cover the inner area of the spill with TRIVOREX® |
| |
pH Identification - Wait until the TRIVOREX® changes colour to identify the pH of the spill: • Blue = alkaline / • Pink = acid
| |
| Absorption- Wait until the TRIVOREX® has completely absorbed the spill. |
| |
| Neutralisation - Wait until the TRIVOREX® changes colour to identify neutralisation of the spill: • Yellow = safe for removal to suitable container awaiting disposal in accordance with National and Local Regulations. |
| |
| |
| 2. | TRIVOREX ® is able to absorb and neutralise the aggressive chemical molecule to prevent the 6 possible reactions (acid, base, oxydation, reduction, solvation, chelation)
| |
 | | | Acid Indicated | | | | Trivorex ® absorbs the chemical product. The pH indicators in Trivorex ® then identify the acid spill by tuning pink |
| | | | Acid Absorbed | | | | Trivorex ® absorbs and then inactivates the acid, turning yellow when safe. |
| | | | Acid Safe | | | | Trivorex ® makes the spill safe. |
| |
 | | | Alkaline Indicated | | | | Trivorex ® absorbs the chemical product. The pH indicators in Trivorex ® then identify the alkaline spill by turning blue |
| | | | | | Alkaline Absorbed | | | | Trivorex ® absorbs and then inactivates the alkaline, turning yellow/green when safe. |
| | | | | | Alkaline Safe | | | | Trivorex ® makes the spill safe |
| |
| |
| 3. | TRIVOREX® works on the chemical product, regardless of its concentration. |
